The company operates three rolling mills - in Grevenbroich, Neuss and Hamburg. In Neuss, Hydro also operates the largest primary aluminium production in the country.

Hydro’s other activities in Germany include extrusion, precision tubing, and building systems. One of Hydro’s main building systems brands – Wicona – is based in Ulm.
